The Pentecostal Writers Institute (PWI) is a biennial conference for writers and designers sponsored by Word Aflame Publications. This conference inspires, educates, unites, and supports Pentecostal writers and designers. Guest presenters and members of the Word Aflame Publications staff share their expertise in a variety of general sessions and workshops, some of which are hands-on. Attendees network to share their experiences, as well as to make new friends. This conference lays out for Pentecostal writers a clear track to follow for impacting the world with the gospel. Anyone wanting to expand his or her writing ministry will benefit from attending PWI. One writer who traveled several hundred miles to attend the 2006 PWI wrote: “The 2006 Pentecostal Writer's Institute was great. It was everything I expected and more. I would definitely advise all writers to attend PWI. The information is priceless, and the fellowship in itself is worth the trip. I learned as much from my fellow writers as I did from the classes.” One member of the Pentecostal Writers Fellowship wrote: “Another smart move was attending the Pentecostal Writers Institute in 2006. When I came back, I was pumped! The conference introduced me to a plethora of reference materials and launched me into the business end of my passion. I still refer to my notes.” |
