About the Youth Editor
Word Aflame Publications is
pleased to announce the appointment of a new field editor
for the youth level. Brother Kent d Curry, of Bridgeton,
Missouri, comes to us with excellent qualifications. Having
been raised in the home of Reverend Marvin and Shirley
Curry, the manager of the Pentecostal Publishing House,
he has a unique view of the publishing industry. Among
the things that qualify him for this responsibility are
his love for and submission to Jesus Christ, his education
and work experience in the field of journalism, his involvement
in the Sunday school classroom, his work with the Bible
quizzing program, his expertise in the computer field,
his love and burden for young people, and his creative
abilities. Brother Curry and his wife Nita are the parents
of Caleb, age two. They are active members of New Life
Pentecostal Church in Bridgeton, pastored by Reverend Garry
Tracy.

The youth level material is
directed to the upper teenage years. This teacher's manual
has been designed with young people in mind and seeks to
involve them in class discussion and other types of participation.
The quarter is divided into three units—doctrine,
current issues, and relationships. The manual strives to
challenge the students in their growth and maturity to
become "like Christ." Each teacher benefits by
having a personal teacher's manual to study.

Youth Teacher's Resource Packet
This resource packet has been
designed for use with the teacher's manual. It is filled
with visuals and other helpful multimedia items to reinforce
the Bible truths that are presented in the lesson. Each
class will benefit by having the resource packet available.

Youth Student Handbook
The student handbook has been designed to complement
the teacher's manual. When it is used in conjunction with the
manual, optimum benefit results. Each handbook contains various
activities for use during the class session. Each student will
need a handbook for use during the class.
Youth Challenge Youth
Take-Home Paper
Youth Challenge,
the take-home paper, is an excellent tool to extend the influence
of the Sunday school. By encouraging the student to continue
in a positive direction, the take-home paper can remind him
of the class session for several days. Each student will benefit
by having his personal copy of Youth Challenge.
