Plus de 17 000 pentec\u00f4tistes se sont inscrits pour participer \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle de l'\u00c9glise pentec\u00f4tiste unie internationale, pr\u00e9vue du 4 au 7 octobre au Orange County Convention Center.

L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement de quatre jours comprendra des cultes, des pr\u00e9dications et des opportunit\u00e9s de r\u00e9seautage pour les ministres et les membres de l'UPCI de toute l'Am\u00e9rique du Nord, ainsi que la r\u00e9union annuelle de l'organisation. Le th\u00e8me de la conf\u00e9rence de cette ann\u00e9e est \"Le faire conna\u00eetre\".

\"C'est la premi\u00e8re fois que notre organisation tient sa conf\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle \u00e0 Orlando\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l'UPCI, le Dr David K. Bernard. \"C'est une ville magnifique qui jouit d'une r\u00e9putation bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re d'hospitalit\u00e9, et les chiffres d'inscription indiquent que ce sera l'une des conf\u00e9rences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales les plus suivies de ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les services du soir commenceront \u00e0 19 heures du mardi au vendredi, et \u00e0 midi le jeudi et le vendredi. La Conf\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale est \u00e9galement l'occasion pour les minist\u00e8res et les agences humanitaires soutenus par l'UPCI de pr\u00e9senter leur travail. C'est le cas de Reach Out America et de Compassion Services International, qui ont tous deux particip\u00e9 activement aux efforts de secours apr\u00e8s les r\u00e9cents ouragans, notamment l'ouragan Laura. Compassion Services International fournit actuellement une aide humanitaire aux r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s fuyant la guerre en Ukraine, ainsi que de la nourriture, des produits d'hygi\u00e8ne et des fournitures m\u00e9dicales aux r\u00e9sidents du Sri Lanka, de l'Ouganda et de Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
