Le nouveau directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des missions mondiales, Adam Hunley, s'adresse aux participants \u00e0 la session de travail de la Conf\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Le Dr. David K. Bernard a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu en tant que surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l'UPCI<\/a>un poste qu'il occupe depuis 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'\u00e9lection a eu lieu lors de la r\u00e9union annuelle de l'\u00c9glise pentec\u00f4tiste unie internationale, qui fait partie de la conf\u00e9rence annuelle de l'organisation. Conf\u00e9rence G\u00e9n\u00e9rale<\/a>. La Conf\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de cette ann\u00e9e se d\u00e9roule actuellement \u00e0 Indianapolis, dans l'Indiana. Tous les ministres accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s de l'UPCI ont le droit de voter lors de la r\u00e9union de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les ministres pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 la r\u00e9union ont \u00e9galement \u00e9lu le missionnaire Adam Hunley comme prochain directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l'organisation. Missions mondiales de l'UPCI<\/a>qui remplace le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral sortant Bruce Howell. Ce dernier avait pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment annonc\u00e9 qu'il ne se repr\u00e9senterait pas pour un nouveau mandat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunley, 42 ans, est directeur r\u00e9gional pour l'Eurasie et l'Afrique du Nord depuis 2022. Avant de devenir directeur r\u00e9gional, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 missionnaire dans des pays difficiles d'acc\u00e8s. Lui et sa femme, Maya, sont missionnaires \u00e0 plein temps aupr\u00e8s de l'UPCI depuis 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Howell est directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Missions mondiales depuis 2001. Lui et sa d\u00e9funte \u00e9pouse, Diane, ont servi dans les missions de l'UPCI depuis 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D. J. Hill a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu prochain pr\u00e9sident g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des jeunes. Hill, actuel directeur de la promotion de la Minist\u00e8res de la jeunesse de l'UPCI<\/a>Il succ\u00e8de au pr\u00e9sident g\u00e9n\u00e9ral sortant de la jeunesse, Michael Thomas, qui n'a pas pu briguer un nouveau mandat en raison de son \u00e2ge. Steve Willeford et Terry Pugh ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lus pour si\u00e9ger au comit\u00e9 de formation des nouveaux districts pour la r\u00e9gion Centre-Nord et la r\u00e9gion Sud-Ouest, respectivement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'UPCI compte aujourd'hui 11 694 ministres accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s et 4 961 \u00e9glises, \u0153uvres filiales et points de pr\u00e9dication aux \u00c9tats-Unis et au Canada. Au niveau mondial, l'UPCI compte 5,5 millions de membres qui c\u00e9l\u00e8brent leur culte dans 43 000 \u00e9glises, \u0153uvres filiales et points de pr\u00e9dication dans 199 pays et 39 territoires.
