  • Increase of $523,975.46 from last year’s offering
  • 39 of 56 districts experienced an increase
  • 11 districts set an all-time giving record
  • The Louisiana district led the way with an offering of $440,020.18
  • Two churches have tied for 1st Place in the nation giving $100,020.18! Atlanta West Pentecostal Church – Pastor Darrell Johns and The Pentecostals of Alexandria – Pastor Anthony Mangun

Update on Hurricane Florence

The list of those affected by Hurricane Florence continues to grow. At least thirty-two people have lost their lives and hundreds of thousands of people are displaced. UPCI ministers and church members have had their homes flooded. Minor damage thus far has been reported on church structures. Reach Out America, our UPCI-endorsed domestic relief organization, hosts daily conference calls to gather information as it’s discovered and to connect needs with resources.

A team comprising members from various groups including Reach Out America, Apostolic Man, district leaders and local churches has activated to assist those affected by the storm. Men’s directors in or near the area are organizing volunteer groups to assist in the recovery and rebuild. A distribution center for relief supplies is open in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and two more will soon open along the coast. From these and other future sites, area churches will be reached with disaster relief supplies. Several supply trucks have arrived with many more on the road. This effort will be more of a marathon than a sprint. Please support the organizations referenced and be in prayer for all involved.

General Conference

I urge every minister and church to participate in focused prayer for the 2018 UPCI General Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, next week. Let's seek the will of God for our business meeting, and let's ask for a special anointing upon our seminars and services. We need to hear from God, and we need a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost. An abbreviated schedule is below. For a complete schedule including seminar topics please click here.

Sincerely in Christ,
David K. Bernard
