Scott Graham has been elected to a fourth term as general secretary-treasurer of the UPCI.
Scotty Slaydon, general secretary of Global Missions, also was returned to office, along with North American Missions General Secretary Bill Hobson, Children’s Ministries General Secretary Robbie Knox, Youth Ministries General Secretary Jeremy Stafford, and Ladies Ministries General Secretary Jane Buford.
The elections took place during the annual business meeting of United Pentecostal Church International, which is part of the organization’s annual General Conference. This year’s General Conference is being held in Long Beach, California.
Ministers at the conference also elected several general executive presbyters, including James Booker (Eastern Zone), Ken Dillingham (Northeast Region), David Wiseman (Southeast Region), Tom Copple (Southwest Region), and Raymond Woodward (Canada).
UPCI General Superintendent Dr. David K. Bernard announced that both UPCI Men’s Ministries Director Mike Williams and Secretary Jerry Dean have decided to transition from their respective roles. Both leaders have served since Men’s Ministries was founded in 2003. Voters approved Paul Pamer as the new Men’s Ministries director and Jay Carney as the ministry’s new secretary.
In addition, ministers voted to officially endorse Raven’s Reach, an endowment fund that provides financial assistance to retired ministers and their families. Ministers also voted to officially endorse Seed, a crowdfunding platform that provides financial support for missions.
The UPCI has 12,018 credentialed ministers and 5,081 churches, daughter works, and preaching points in the United States and Canada. Globally, the UPCI has 5.8 million constituents worshipping in 45,000 churches, daughter works, and preaching point in 231 nations and territories.
