Please pray for Los Angeles residents who have been impacted by wildfires that continue to burn out of control. We are thankful that none of our constituents have died as a result of this catastrophe, although at least four families have lost their homes. Others have been evacuated or are living under the threat of evacuation due to the proximity of the fires.
Reach Out America, our endorsed disaster relief ministry, is sending a truckload of supplies to be distributed from one of our churches. You can donate to this effort at reachoutamerica.org/donate. The SoCal District has opened a Wildfires Relief Fund, and every dollar donated will be used to help victims of the fires, with special priority being given to families from UPCI churches who have been affected.
